"Lumieres is a fantastic drama academy", it is amazing value for money, when we first saw the site we thought it would be quite costly, but were very pleasantly surprised, our daughter thoroughly enjoys being there. Victoria has achieved two drama qualifications (Trinity guildhalls), along with a lot of different experiences in drama, production, and a variety of outdoor events, and at the moment they are doing rehearsals for a pantomime. The teachers are great, really dedicated to children of all abilities. We think Lumieres Academy is excellent value for money, and we recommend this drama group to anyone. It’s a friendly, fun place to bring your children, whether they want to be an actor or to build their confidence and raise their self-esteem. Mandy & Adrian Elliot I have 2 children at Lumieres aged 14 and 7 years old, there is an additional 10% off for the second sibling and because the cost is so reasonable we were able to send both boys instead of just my eldest, they both now attend Lumiere’s Huddersfield Academy of Performing Arts nearly every Saturday morning. My 14-year-old son has been attending Lumieres acting Singing and Acting Academy for 2 years, which he has enjoyed it thoroughly and can’t wait for Saturday to come around each week. He enjoyed drama at school and wanted to join an academy to further this interest. We found Lumiere’s Academy of Performing Arts and he loves it. My son has moderately severe dyslexia and the academy have helped him with this learning difficulty whilst developing his acting, dancing and singing skills. It wasn’t long before he joined lumieres Agency, where he gets to go to castings for advertisements, films, theatre, tv drama’s and programmes. He was recently cast as Young Robin Hood in Wanted: Robin Hood at the Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays in Manchester from October 2013 until January 2014 and this was all down to Lumiere’s Academy. My 7-year-old son joined last year after seeing how enthusiastic his older brother was about Lumiere’s Academy and wanted to be a part of it himself. He also has severe dyslexia and the Academy are helping him with his reading which has come on tremendously. I find Lumiere’s Academy very good at what they do and can help children with their confidence and self-esteem. There is a friendly atmosphere and everyone is willing to help each other achieve their goals. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lumiere’s Academy to any parent. Yours faithfully Lynn Cartwright Dalton & Hudsen Cartwright’s Mother.
